SOMD Strings is a group of well-trained, professional musicians that specialize in providing live entertainment for weddings, private parties, and more! Solo, duo, trio or quartet ensembles are available so that you may choose the perfect classical ensemble for your wedding ceremony or special event. The versatility of Southern Maryland Strings can meet your musical need and budget with options.  We work with you to choose the perfect music for your ceremony.

We are comprised of violinis, violas, cellos, flute, vocals, and piano.  Our Services include:

• Wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions
• Special events
• Private cello instruction

WEDDING SERVICES

We are available for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and/or reception.  Our wedding services include a music consultation, prelude music prior to the ceremony, processionals, recessionals, and special music during your ceremony.

Stephanie works with clients prior to the event to finalize musical selections (see repertoire page).  She and also offers the unique service of specially arranging any requested song for strings, tailor-made in duration.

Solo: $300

Duo: (Violin/Flute & Cello) $450

String or Piano Trio:  (Violin, Viola/Piano, Cello) $675

String Quartet: (2 Violins/Flute, Viola, Cello) $900

Cocktail Hour: $100 per hour per musician

SOMD Strings Booking Fee: $50
